Benro Aureole Circulair UV Filter (RC1UV1)

Benro Aureole Circulair UV Filter (RC1UV1) | A dedicated filter for UV light

For a photograph where ultraviolet light is the concern, a UV filter gives you a dedicated filter at the lens rather than relying on adjustments afterwards. The Benro Aureole Circulair UV Filter (RC1UV1) is a circular UV filter for photographers who want that specific filter type in their kit. It’s most relevant when you’re photographing outdoors, particularly scenes with distant landscape detail, where UV filtering is the intended job. The product name identifies the filter as circular, but doesn’t tell us its diameter or which lenses it fits, so I wouldn’t assume compatibility from the name alone. If you’re choosing between filter types, start with the effect you want: this Benro is specifically a UV filter, not a general-purpose description for other kinds of filters. Its appeal is straightforward: a clearly identified filter type and model, without a list of unverified claims about its construction or performance.

Using a UV filter

Think of this filter as a tool for a particular photographic aim, not as an automatic improvement for every frame. It makes most sense when UV filtering is what you want to address, such as when framing an outdoor view with distant features. The name also gives you a useful way to identify it in your kit: Aureole is the named range, Circulair describes the product in its name, and RC1UV1 is the model reference. Those details help distinguish this specific Benro filter from other filter types, without implying a lens size or fit that isn’t provided here.
