Caruba LB-SO2 Sony Body Cap + Sony Rear Cap Nex
Caruba LB-SO2 Sony Body Cap + Sony Rear Cap Nex | Covers camera and lens openings
Keep the camera’s body opening and a detached lens’s rear end covered between uses. The Caruba LB-SO2 is a two-piece cap set: a Sony body cap and a Sony rear cap marked Nex. It suits Sony camera owners who remove a lens for storage, transport or a lens change and want covers for both exposed ends. Use the body cap when no lens is mounted, and fit the rear cap to the detached lens. That makes this a straightforward accessory for regular lens changes or for storing a separate lens. The product title identifies the set for Sony and Nex use, so it’s intended for owners of that system. It has a simple, specific job: cover the camera body and lens rear when they’re apart. Keep the caps with your camera gear so they’re ready when you remove a lens or pack one away.
Specialist Note
The Caruba LB-SO2 does its best job as a two-cap cover set for a Sony body and a detached Nex lens. I’d recommend it to a Sony NEX owner who swaps lenses: put the body cap on as soon as the lens comes off, then cap the lens before storing it separately. That gives both exposed ends their own cover. The two pieces have distinct roles—a Sony body cap for the camera and a Sony rear cap marked Nex for the lens—so it’s easy to keep the routine clear. One limitation: caps cover openings, but they don’t provide padding when you carry camera gear.
