Cokin Adapter Ring A 62mm

Cokin Adapter Ring A 62mm: Fit a Cokin A holder to your lens

Fit a Cokin A filter holder to a 62mm-thread lens and place your chosen filters in front of the scene. The Cokin Adapter Ring A 62mm is the link between that lens and the holder, so you can use the Cokin A filter system on a lens with this thread size. It’s a small part, but it determines whether the holder can be mounted to the lens. The A system is Cokin’s compact filter-holder format, and the ring’s black finish keeps the adapter visually discreet on the camera. Use it when you want to put a Cokin A filter in front of a compatible lens, or keep using the same holder and filters on another lens by adding a ring in that lens’s thread size. The adapter is specific to the stated thread size; the holder and filters are separate parts of the setup.

Fit and finish

• 62mm lens thread: The ring attaches to a lens with a 62mm threaded connection. Matching the thread size is what allows the filter-holder system to be mounted to that lens.
• Connects to a Cokin A holder: The ring provides the lens-side attachment for the Cokin A filter holder. It’s the adapter you need between the lens and holder when setting up this filter system.
• Use with your chosen filters: Once the holder is in place, it carries the filters you select for your setup. The ring’s job is the connection, rather than holding the filters itself.
• Reuse the system across lenses: If you use the holder on more than one lens, an additional adapter ring in the appropriate thread size lets you mount the same Cokin A system on each. This ring is the version for the stated size.
• Black finish: The adapter has a plain black finish, keeping the part unobtrusive beside the lens and filter holder.
• Compact A format: Cokin A is the compact format in the company’s filter-holder range. Choose this ring for connecting that system to a compatible lens.
