Switch Formats in Seconds

With third-generation native vertical shooting, you can move between horizontal and vertical content quickly and without extra accessories. The joystick can also be reassigned between zoom control and gimbal movement, while the available modes include Pan Follow, Pan & Tilt Follow, and FPV. Dual-layer quick-release plates support both Manfrotto and Arca standards, allowing easy transitions from gimbal to tripod without rebalance.

Long Battery Life and Rapid Charging

The DJI RS 5 charges fully in around one hour, which is about 60% faster than before, so you can get back to shooting sooner. The standard battery offers up to 14 hours of runtime, making it a dependable choice for long filming days.

Expanded Bluetooth Shutter Support

In addition to Sony, Canon, and Nikon, the RS 5 now also supports select Panasonic and Fujifilm cameras via Bluetooth shutter control. That means you can operate the shutter, zoom, and Clear Image Zoom wirelessly, with no cables needed.
