DZOFilm Vespid Prime 2 50mm T1.9 PL Lens

The DZOFilm Vespid Prime 2 50mm T1.9 PL is a cornerstone of cinematic filmmaking, offering versatility and precision for a variety of scenes. Its focal length closely mirrors human vision, making it an ideal choice for capturing dynamic shots with natural perspectives.

This lens features a constant aperture of T1.9, allowing filmmakers to exercise significant control over depth of field and low-light performance. It incorporates a sophisticated optical design comprising 12 elements arranged in 9 groups, which delivers sharp images with true-to-life color reproduction. Modern coatings enhance contrast and brightness, ensuring clear visuals even in challenging lighting conditions.

Additionally, the 10-blade iris creates beautiful, soft bokeh that shines in interviews and close-up shots. Designed with minimal focus breathing and a 300-degree manual focus rotation, the lens is perfect for precise focus pulls and smooth camera movements.

The PL mount equipped with Cooke i metadata seamlessly integrates into professional workflows, where lens data is essential for production. The compact and consistent design of the Vespid Prime 2 series allows for easy mounting on rigs, tripods, and gimbals, facilitating quick changes in focal lengths without the need for readjusting your setup.
