The Exakta RTL 1000 is a solid East German 35mm SLR camera made by VEB Pentacon in Dresden in the late 1960s and early 1970s. Unlike earlier Exakta models with their left-handed shutter releases and quirky ergonomics, the RTL 1000 offers a more conventional design, similar in feel to Praktica cameras of the same era.
This set comes paired with the highly regarded Meyer-Optik Görlitz Oreston 50mm f/1.8 lens — known for its sharpness and distinctive rendering, especially its smooth bokeh and solid performance wide open.
