Falcon Eyes Background Cloth BCP-05 2.9x5 M Chroma

Falcon Eyes Background Cloth BCP-05 2.9x5 M Chroma | Blue backdrop for chroma-key shoots

When you need a blue background for a chroma-key shot, a cloth measuring 2.9 by 5 metres gives you a clear surface to work with. The Falcon Eyes Background Cloth BCP-05 is a specialist background for photographers and video makers who want to place a subject against blue and replace that colour during editing. Its size makes it worth considering when your framing needs more coverage than a small backdrop can offer; the space you have available will matter, too. The key details are straightforward: it’s blue, it’s a cloth background, and it’s marked for chroma use. That makes its purpose easy to judge before you plan a setup. One practical point: a chroma background still needs careful lighting and subject placement to make editing easier.

Planning a blue chroma-key setup

For cleaner selections in post-production, aim to keep the blue area as even as you can across the part of the cloth that appears in frame. Light it consistently, and watch for folds or shadows that create noticeably darker patches. Give your subject some space in front of the background where your room allows; this can help keep shadows off the cloth. Also consider clothing and props: blue items may blend into the area you intend to remove, so choose them with the final image in mind. Before the shoot, frame a test and check that the background covers the full image area. These are general chroma-key setup tips, rather than special features of this cloth. The useful starting point here is its blue colour and generous 2.9 × 5 m size, so you can judge whether it suits the scene you’re planning.
