The revolutionary Firecrest ND series are ND filters from Formatt Hitech. Unique for its rare earth metal coating, these filters are geared towards creating hyper-neutral NDs. ND filters, also known as grey filters, are designed to reduce exposure across the entire image surface.

The use of an ND filter can vary widely, but when it comes to landscape photography with a long exposure time and city photography with a lot of light, the results are impressively effective. The Formatt Hitech Firecrest ND filter employs Schott Superwhite glass with a 5.5mm SuperSlim ring, a superb choice for the optimum photograph.
