Godox AD600PRO Statiefaansluiting / Neigkop | Mount and angle your AD600PRO flash

At an indoor event, you may want to move the flash off-camera and aim it where the subject is, rather than leave it pointing straight ahead. This Godox statiefaansluiting / neigkop is the mounting and angling accessory named for the AD600PRO. It suits photographers who use that flash for events or indoor portraits and want to position it on a stand. The adjustable angle is also useful when using flash as fill light in harsh sun: aim the light towards your subject while placing the flash where it can work alongside the available light. Its purpose is practical rather than creative in itself: it gives you a way to mount and direct the flash. If you regularly change the flash’s position between setups, this is the kind of small piece that helps make those changes straightforward.

Where it helps

For a portrait, placing the AD600PRO on a stand lets you direct the flash towards the subject instead of keeping it at camera level. At an event, the same ability to set and adjust its angle can help you place the light for the space and the people in front of you.

Specialist Note

Getting the AD600PRO onto a stand and pointed at the right part of the scene shouldn’t be a fiddly distraction. This is the connection and neigkop for that job: the stand fitting gives you a way to position the flash off-camera, while the tilt lets you adjust where it points. For an indoor portrait, mount the flash on a stand and angle it towards your subject; for fill in harsh sun, direct it at the person you want to brighten. I’d consider it when you already use an AD600PRO and need more control over placement. It changes positioning, not the flash’s output, so it pairs with the flash rather than replacing any lighting decisions.
