Godox Bowens Mount For AD400 Pro

Godox Bowens Mount For AD400 Pro: Fit Bowens Light Shapers

Being limited to a narrow choice of modifiers can make it harder to shape light for a particular job. The Godox Bowens Mount for AD400 Pro is an adapter for the Godox Witstro AD400 Pro flash head, adding a Bowens fitting so you can attach Bowens accessories and light shapers. That’s useful when you want to change how the flash spreads or directs its light, rather than work with only the accessories that fit the head without an adapter. For indoor portraits, it opens the door to using Bowens-compatible shaping tools for a more controlled look. At events, you can select a compatible accessory to suit the lighting approach you’ve planned. The AD400 Pro is also suited to fill light in harsh sun; this mount expands the Bowens accessories you can use with that flash. It’s a focused accessory: the value is the added Bowens connection, not a change to the flash itself.

Bowens Modifier Compatibility

• Made for the AD400 Pro: This adapter is specified for the Godox Witstro AD400 Pro flash head. That clear fit makes it the relevant mount when you want to use Bowens accessories with this flash.
• Bowens fitting: The mount provides the Bowens connection for attaching compatible accessories. It gives you access to a wider selection of light-shaping options than the flash head’s original fitting alone.
• Accepts Bowens accessories: You can attach different Bowens accessories to the AD400 Pro using the adapter. That flexibility is useful when you want to choose a modifier to suit a portrait, event or fill-light setup.
• Supports light shapers: Bowens-compatible light shapers can be fitted through this mount. Their role is to shape the flash’s light to suit the scene, rather than changing the flash’s output.
• Adapter, not a flash: This product provides a mount for the AD400 Pro; it isn’t a separate flash unit. Keep that distinction in mind when selecting accessories for your lighting kit.
• Expands modifier options: The main change is access to Bowens-fit accessories on the compatible flash head. That’s handy if your lighting setup already uses Bowens modifiers and you want to use them with the AD400 Pro.
