H&Y HD EVO-Series IRND32 Filter Kit 72mm.
H&Y HD EVO-Series IRND32 Filter Kit 72mm | More control in bright light
Bright light can leave you with a shutter speed that freezes every ripple or passing cloud, even when you want movement in the frame. The H&Y HD EVO-Series IRND32 Filter Kit is a neutral-density filter kit designed to reduce the light reaching your camera, giving you more room to choose a slower shutter speed or a wider aperture. That makes it useful for long-exposure scenes in daylight and for controlling motion when filming outdoors. It’s aimed at photographers and videographers who want to shape exposure with a filter rather than rely only on camera settings. The IRND32 designation points to a strong light reduction, so this is a more purposeful option than a mild darkening filter. Think carefully about the exposure you want: a strong filter can make a significant difference, but it also calls for deliberate shutter-speed choices.
Specialist Note
The 72mm diameter limits this kit to lenses with a matching filter thread, so it won’t cover a set of lenses with different front diameters. For a 72mm lens, though, the IRND32 rating gives you a useful five-stop reduction: at the same aperture and ISO, a 1/1000s exposure becomes roughly 1/30s. I’d use that for softening moving water in daylight or adding motion blur to clouds without closing the aperture right down. It’s a strong filter, so plan for a noticeably slower exposure rather than expecting a subtle adjustment. If that’s the effect you want, the 32 rating gives you a clear starting point.
