Hahnemühle Photo Matt Fibre 200GSM 111.8cmx30m

Hahnemühle Photo Matt Fibre 200GSM 111.8cmx30m | Matte paper for wide photo prints

Your prints have a matte finish with Hahnemühle Photo Matt Fibre 200GSM, a photo paper for photographers who want a wide paper format for their images. The product name identifies the finish and weight, so you can judge those against the look and feel you want from a print. It’s a straightforward option to consider when you’re preparing photographs for display or making larger prints for a portfolio. The wide format gives you room to work with images that need more width than a standard sheet, while the 30-metre length is suited to a workflow that uses paper from a roll. One honest point: the name alone can’t tell you how a particular printer will render your image, so the final result will depend on your print setup as well as the paper. If matte photo paper is what you’re looking for, this gives you a clear starting point.

Choosing the format

At 111.8 cm wide and 30 m long, this is a substantial format to plan around. Think about the dimensions of the images you intend to print and how you’ll handle the finished prints before choosing it. A wide paper format can suit photographs intended to be viewed at a larger size, but it also calls for a printer and workflow that can use the paper dimensions. Check those practical needs against your own setup; this product description doesn’t establish printer compatibility. The 200GSM weight and matte finish are useful details to have in mind when comparing papers for a print project. If you’re deciding between formats, start with the largest print you expect to make and the space you have for storing and working with the paper. That should help you decide whether this long, wide format makes sense for your day-to-day printing.
