Hama Audio-Adapter 2 Cinch-Plugs - 3.5-mm-Jack Stereo

Hama Audio-Adapter 2 Cinch-Plugs - 3.5-mm-Jack Stereo | Connect stereo audio between two plug types

When you need to route stereo audio between a device with a small jack socket and equipment with two Cinch connections, this Hama adapter gives you the matching plug arrangement. It has a 3.5 mm stereo jack at one end and two Cinch plugs at the other. That makes it suited to a straightforward connection between those two formats, without adding extra controls or functions to the setup. The key detail is that the Cinch side uses two plugs, rather than one; the stereo signal is carried through the pair. It’s a simple piece to keep close to an audio setup where these connectors are in use. The black finish is easy to place alongside other cables and equipment, though the useful part is the connector layout, not the colour. If your devices have the matching sockets, this adapter keeps the connection uncomplicated.

Choosing where it fits

Start by looking at the connection points on the two devices. One side needs a 3.5 mm stereo jack socket, while the other needs two Cinch sockets. The adapter’s plug ends are made for that arrangement, so it’s useful when the connectors on your devices don’t match directly. Keep the two Cinch connections paired as intended for stereo audio; they’re not a single combined plug. That’s the main point to get right when you’re setting it up.

This is a focused connector adapter, rather than a general-purpose audio accessory. Its value is in bridging the jack and dual-Cinch formats in one simple link. If that’s the connection you need, the layout is easy to identify at a glance. There’s no need to guess which kind of plug is on each end: the name describes the two Cinch plugs and the stereo jack. A practical option for a setup that calls for exactly those connectors.
