Hama Audio Cable 3.5-mm-Jack-ST - ST. Stereo Gold Plated Ultradun 3.0 M

Hama Audio Cable 3.5-mm-Jack-ST - ST. Stereo Gold Plated Ultradun 3.0 M | A slim 3 m stereo link

The defining choice is the ultrathin cable: it has a slimmer profile than a standard-looking audio lead, which can be handy when you’re routing it through a tight space or keeping a setup visually simple. This Hama cable has a stereo 3.5 mm jack plug at each end, so it’s for connecting equipment with matching stereo 3.5 mm jack sockets. At 3 metres, it gives you some distance between the two connection points without needing to place them side by side. The plugs are gold plated, and the cable is black. It’s a straightforward option for a stereo audio connection where the plug type and cable length suit your setup. One practical point: measure the route the cable will actually take, not just the straight-line gap, so you know whether 3 metres will reach comfortably.

Check the route before connecting

Think about where the cable needs to run: around a desk, behind equipment or along a shelf. Those turns use up some of its length, and leaving a little slack at either end makes it easier to connect and disconnect the plugs. The ultrathin build may be useful where a bulkier cable would be awkward to route, but the route still needs to be clear of places where it could be pinched or pulled. Match the stereo 3.5 mm jack plugs to the sockets on the equipment you want to connect. If both ends are within reach and the sockets are the right type, this cable gives you a simple wired stereo connection. Its black finish is easy to keep low-key alongside other cables.
