Hama Audio Cable Jack 3.5mm 90° - 3.5mm Jack 0.5 Meter

Hama Audio Cable Jack 3.5mm 90° - 3.5mm Jack 0.5 Meter | A short link for nearby audio gear

When two pieces of audio equipment sit close together, a long cable can leave you with a coil of spare lead to tuck away. This Hama audio cable gives you a short connection: a 3.5mm jack at each end, with one plug angled at 90°. It’s half a metre long and black. The right-angle plug can be handy when a straight plug would stick out awkwardly from a socket or get in the way of nearby equipment. Use it to connect equipment with matching 3.5mm audio connections; the cable’s short reach makes most sense when those connections are close. There’s no elaborate setup to consider here: it’s a straightforward cable for a simple audio link. One practical point: measure the gap between your devices before choosing a short lead, so the cable can reach without being pulled tight.

When a short cable makes sense

This cable suits a compact desk, shelf or other setup where the connected devices stay near one another. Less spare cable means less to gather up or route out of sight. The angled plug also changes how the cable leaves the socket, which can help in a tight space behind or beside a device. Its usefulness depends on the layout: if your equipment is farther apart, a half-metre lead may not give you enough slack. For a close, simple connection, though, it keeps the run neat without adding unnecessary length. The cable is black, a restrained finish that tends to sit quietly among other cables and equipment. That’s the honest appeal here: a small, practical connection cable, with a short reach and one angled end.
