Hama Bluetooth-Ontspanner BRS5 | Remote control for group photos

At a busy viewpoint, fitting everyone into one travel photo can be awkward if one person has to hold the camera. The Hama Bluetooth-Ontspanner BRS5 is a selfie stick with a Bluetooth shutter release, made for situations where you want to frame a selfie or group shot and trigger the camera without reaching for it. It also suits action-camera footage, where a selfie stick gives you another way to position the camera while recording. The straightforward appeal is in those practical jobs: travel photos, getting friends into the frame, and capturing footage on the move. If you’re choosing an accessory for those kinds of shots, this Hama brings the stick and shutter-release idea together in one product. Its black colour keeps the look simple, too.

Specialist Note

The black finish gives the BRS5 a quiet look in a group photo, so the people in the frame stay the focus. I’d point it towards travellers and anyone who often ends up taking the group picture: frame the scene with the stick, then use the Bluetooth shutter release instead of leaning in to press the camera yourself. That’s especially handy when you want everyone in a travel selfie, or when you’re recording action-camera footage and want a different camera position. It’s a focused accessory for framing and triggering shots; for a full group picture, take a moment to check that everyone is actually in the frame.
