Hama Filter Profi Line UV Nano 37 mm
Hama Filter Profi Line UV Nano 37 mm | A straightforward UV filter for 37 mm lenses
Without a filter, there’s no separate UV-filter element in front of the lens. The Hama Filter Profi Line UV Nano is a UV filter with a 37 mm size, intended for a lens with a matching filter thread. It suits photographers who want a dedicated UV filter for outdoor and daylight photography, rather than a filter for colour effects or creative softening. Its purpose is specific: it’s made to filter ultraviolet light. The “Nano” name is part of this model’s designation, but the useful starting point when choosing it is the size. Match 37 mm to the lens’s filter-thread diameter; the camera body alone doesn’t determine whether it fits. If you’re looking for a simple UV filter in that size, this Hama is a clear, focused option. It won’t change your exposure settings or replace the need to choose the right filter size for your lens.
Specialist Note
The 37 mm size makes this a very specific purchase: it suits a lens with a 37 mm filter thread, so I’d match that measurement before choosing it. In use, its UV role is straightforward; it’s aimed at filtering ultraviolet light, which makes outdoor daylight the natural setting for it. The “Nano” name is part of the product identity, but I wouldn’t read extra promises into that alone. This is for someone who wants a dedicated UV filter, not a dramatic image effect. For a simple setup, fit it to the matching lens and leave creative effects to other filters; its purpose here stays nicely focused.
