Hama High Speed HDMI-Cable 4K Ethernet Gold Plated 7.5 M

Hama High Speed HDMI-Cable 4K Ethernet Gold Plated 7.5 M | Connect your screen from across the room

When your screen needs to sit across the room from its source, a longer HDMI cable can save you from rearranging the whole setup. Hama’s High Speed HDMI cable measures 7.5 metres, giving you room to route it between devices that aren’t next to each other. It supports 4K and includes Ethernet support, with gold plating noted in the product name. That makes it a practical cable to consider for a home viewing setup where the display and source have a little distance between them. The main thing to plan is the route: measure from connection to connection, following the path the cable will actually take rather than a straight line across the room. That way, you can judge whether the length suits your layout before you start connecting everything.

Planning the cable run

Think through the path before moving furniture or plugging in devices. A route along a wall or behind a cabinet may be tidier than one across an open walkway, and leaving a little room near each connection makes it easier to reach the plugs later. Avoid trapping the cable under heavy furniture or pulling it tight around a sharp corner. If the source or screen may be moved from time to time, allow for that when laying the cable rather than stretching it to fit the current position. These simple checks can make a long cable run easier to live with and help keep the space around your equipment neat. It’s a straightforward detail, but planning the route first often saves a second attempt.
