Hama Network Cable CAT-6A 10 GBIT/s S/FTP Afgeschermd 15.00m

Hama CAT-6A 10 Gbit/s S/FTP Shielded Network Cable 15m | A longer network link with 10 Gbit/s rating

A network connection can be awkward when the router and the device you want to connect aren’t close together. This 15-metre Hama cable gives you more room to route a wired connection between network points, without needing to keep them side by side. It’s a CAT-6A cable with a listed speed rating of 10 Gbit/s, so the key details are clear when you’re choosing a cable for a network setup that calls for that specification. The cable is shielded, with S/FTP stated in the product name, and it comes in black. For a specialist camera shop, it’s a practical accessory to consider when your network equipment needs a longer wired link; the main thing is to plan the route so 15 metres suits the distance and path you have in mind.

Planning the cable run

Think about where the cable will start and finish, then allow for the route between those points rather than measuring only the straight-line distance. At 15 metres, this cable gives you a defined length to work with when network equipment is separated across a room or along a longer route. CAT-6A, 10 Gbit/s and S/FTP are the details to compare against the requirements of your intended setup. The cable’s black finish is another straightforward detail to factor in when deciding how it will sit along its route. There’s no complicated pitch here: it’s a shielded network cable with a stated length and rating, for a wired connection where those details fit your plan.
