Hama Tripod Traveller 117 Ball Tripod
Hama Tripod Traveller 117 Ball Tripod | Keep your framing steady
Sharper-looking landscapes and steadier night-sky shots start with a camera that stays put. The Hama Tripod Traveller 117 Ball Tripod gives your camera support for scenes where holding it still matters, from long exposures to steady video. Its ball-head design lets you adjust the camera’s position to compose the frame, then keep that view stable while you shoot. That makes it a practical option for photographers who enjoy taking their time over a landscape, working after dark, or recording video without relying on handheld footage. For night and astro photography, a tripod gives you a stable base while you frame the sky; for a long exposure, it helps keep the composition from shifting during the shot. It’s also useful when you want a steady view for video. This is a straightforward support tool rather than a way to make a moving subject freeze: it’s at its best when your camera can remain in one place.
Specialist Note
117 is the number in this Traveller tripod’s name; in practice, it identifies the model rather than a setting you need to adjust. The feature to think about while composing is the ball head: you can reposition the camera to line up a landscape or a patch of night sky, then keep that framing steady for the exposure. I’d suggest it to someone who likes considered compositions, especially for landscape and astro work, or for video where a settled camera view matters. Set it up on firm ground and take your time with the framing. One trade-off is that a tripod takes longer to position than simply raising a camera for a quick handheld shot.
