Hama USB-Netadapter w/ 1.9 M Long Cable 2.4 A 2X USB-A White

Hama USB Mains Adapter with 1.9 m Cable, 2.4 A, 2× USB-A, White | More room to place your charger

The defining decision here is the 1.9 m cable: it gives you more freedom to place the adapter than a compact plug-in unit would. That can be handy when the wall socket isn’t right beside the surface where you want to charge. The Hama adapter has two USB-A ports, so you can connect USB-A charging leads at the same time, and its stated current rating is 2.4 A. It’s a straightforward option for someone who wants a mains adapter with a little more reach and more than one port. The white finish is simple and easy to place among other everyday accessories. One practical point: the cable helps with positioning, but it doesn’t tell you how quickly a particular device will charge; that also depends on the device and the charging lead you use.

For a more flexible charging spot

A longer lead can make the difference between charging where the socket happens to be and putting the adapter closer to where you actually need it. Use the Hama when you’d like to keep a charging point on a desk, shelf or bedside surface without placing the adapter directly at the outlet. The two USB-A connections make it possible to attach two suitable leads, while the 2.4 A rating gives you a clear figure to consider when choosing an adapter. It’s a practical, uncomplicated design: a white mains adapter, a long cable and familiar USB-A ports. If your charging leads use USB-A, this gives you a simple way to power them from a mains socket.
