Hawke Flip-Up Cover Set Plastic - Vantag
Hawke Flip-Up Cover Set Plastic - Vantag | Flip-up coverage for your optic
Plastic is the defining choice here: it keeps the covers straightforward for everyday use on an optic. The Hawke Flip-Up Cover Set Plastic - Vantag is made to cover an optic when you’re not looking through it, helping keep dust and everyday handling away from the covered surface. Its flip-up design means you can open a cover for viewing without taking it off and setting it aside. That’s handy when you’re moving between observing and packing your equipment away. The Vantag name identifies the version; this isn’t presented as a universal cover set. It suits Hawke customers looking for a simple way to keep their Vantag setup covered between sessions, whether the optic is resting at home or being carried in the field. There’s no complicated adjustment to learn: open the cover when you need the view, then close it again when you’re finished.
Specialist Note
Wildlife photographers and field observers who alternate between scanning and putting their optic away will appreciate the flip-up format here. You can open the cover to view, then close it before stowing the optic, without having to keep a loose cap in a pocket. The plastic construction makes this a simple cover set rather than something to treat as impact protection, so I’d still pack the optic carefully. Its Vantag designation makes it a specific option for customers looking at that named range, not a catch-all accessory. For ordinary pauses between observation, it’s a practical little detail: cover the optic when it’s idle and flip the cover clear when the next subject appears.
