The Panasonic HC-X20E makes a solid entry on the market as a robust and versatile 4K-camcorder. Built with an integrated lens and a 1.0-type sensor, this technological marvel showcases features and performances that impress even the most demanding professionals. The HC-X20E excels in optical performance, thanks to its integrated 24.5mm wide-angle lens with 20x optical zoom. Coupled with a 5-axis HYBRID O.I.S. + image stabilization and a highly precise, fast AF with facial recognition, it makes for superior quality image capture.
- This camcorder supports 4:2:2 10-bit 4K 30p/25p internal video recordings, along with a range of recording formats such as Slow Motion (100/120 fps) and Variable Frame Rate (2fps to 60fps).
- Thanks to its integrated lens, it can achieve a 20x optical zoom from 24.5mm wide-angle to 490mm telephoto, reaching 24x zoom in 4K and 32x zoom in Full HD resolution.

The HC-X20E camcorder comes replete with built-in WiFi, permitting wireless operation via your smartphone or tablet with the HC-ROP mobile app. For those preferring a wired connection, it supports connection to a wired LAN via an optional USB-Ethernet adapter.
- The HC-X20E boasts of a tiltable OLED viewfinder with 1.769k pixels that can be used simultaneously with the 3.5-inch LCD screen for efficient operation.
- The lens body includes three manually adjustable rings for controlling zoom, focus, and iris.
- It also includes an integrated ND filter with four settings (Off, 1/4, 1/16, and 1/64) and buttons specifically for Gain and AWB.
In the HC-X20E you'll find two SD card slots, enabling long continuous recordings with seamless automatic transition from slot 1 to slot 2, even as you replace full cards with new ones. The camcorder also includes two interchangeable XLR inputs that support +48V Phantom Power Supply/MIC/LINE. You can also record audio in 24-bit linear PCM (MOV), 16-bit AAC (MP4), or Dolby Audio (AVCHD).
