The perfectly exposed negatives developed in Ilfotec DD-X possess a full tonal range, from deep shades to smooth transitions to mid-tones, and bright, detailed highlights. Delivered as a liquid concentrate, the Ilford Ilfotec DD-X is commonly diluted at a 1:4 ratio for single-time usage. Nevertheless, it can be reused for increased economy, although this slightly diminishes image quality.
