At the heart of the camera is a larger 1/1.28" sensor, a new Triple AI chip, and PureVideo mode up to 5.7K. Together, they produce vivid, detailed footage with reduced noise in both bright daylight and low-light conditions.

Film in full 360° and decide later how your final video should look. The new InstaFrame mode makes it possible to capture a 180° clip alongside your 360° recording, which is ideal when you want to share content quickly on social media without giving up editing freedom.

The X5 also introduces Flat and I-Log color profiles, improved audio capture with a redesigned windscreen, and smarter noise-reduction algorithms. Built-in 6-axis stabilization keeps your footage steady, while clever tools such as invisible selfie stick removal and automatic license plate blurring help you create polished results with ease.

Designed for adventure, the X5 is waterproof to 15 meters without a housing. Pair it with the optional X5 dive housing and you can go down to 50 meters. The camera is also built with stronger Gorilla Glass lenses that you can replace yourself, making it a more durable choice for the long run.
