JJC F-NC62 2 In 1 Variable ND + CPL Filter
JJC F-NC62 2 In 1 Variable ND + CPL Filter | Adjust light and reflections
Without a combined filter, controlling light and reducing reflections usually means fitting separate filters for each job. The JJC F-NC62 brings variable ND and CPL functions together in one 62 mm filter. The ND function lets you reduce the light reaching the camera; the CPL function helps manage reflections and glare from non-metallic surfaces. That pairing is useful when you want more control over a bright scene without switching between two filters. It suits photographers and videographers who work outdoors, especially when changing light or reflective surfaces make it harder to get the look they want. The variable ND function is particularly relevant for video, where reducing incoming light can help you use a slower shutter speed in daylight. For stills, the polarising function can help tame reflections on surfaces such as water or glass. It’s a focused tool for those two jobs, rather than a general-purpose filter.
Specialist Note
“Does this JJC combine an ND filter and a polariser?” Yes: that’s exactly what the 2-in-1 design brings together. I’d consider it if you often move between bright scenes and reflective surfaces, or if you’d rather not swap between separate filters while composing. Its variable ND function lets you adjust how much light is cut, which can help when filming outdoors and aiming for slower shutter speeds. The CPL function is useful for reducing reflections from water or glass. The 62 mm size matters when matching it to a lens: it’s for a lens that takes 62 mm filters. One point to keep in mind is that this filter’s appeal rests on those two specific jobs.
