K&F Concept UV Filter w/ Multi Layer Coating 77mm
K&F Concept UV Filter w/ Multi Layer Coating 77mm | A coated UV filter for 77mm lenses
Its multi-layer coating is the distinguishing detail of this 77mm UV filter. It suits photographers who want a UV filter for a lens with a matching 77mm filter thread, whether they’re setting up for outdoor landscapes or adding a filter to their everyday kit. A UV filter is designed to filter ultraviolet light; it’s also a simple way to keep fingers and routine cleaning away from the lens’s front glass. The coating is relevant because light can reflect between a filter and a lens, particularly when there’s a bright source near the edge of the frame. It’s a practical, low-profile accessory rather than a way to change how a lens frames a scene or make a dramatic difference to every digital image. Check the marking on the lens’s filter thread: this filter’s 77mm size needs to match. If it does, it gives you a straightforward UV filter option with multi-layer coating.
Specialist Note
First-time UV filter buyers sometimes expect a dramatic change in every picture; I’d think of this one more as a simple filter for outdoor use. Its UV-filter design suits bright landscape scenes, while the multi-layer coating is intended to help manage reflections from the extra glass in front of the lens. For a coastal view or an open landscape, fit it to a lens whose filter thread is marked 77mm, then keep an eye on bright light coming in from the side. If you see unwanted reflections, try changing your angle or removing the filter for that frame. The 77mm size is useful only when it matches your lens, so it’s a specific fit, not a universal one.
