Kaiser 6955 Lens Cap 55 mm
Kaiser 6955 Lens Cap 55 mm | Simple cover for a 55 mm lens
Kaiser 6955 Lens Cap 55 mm is a 55 mm lens cap for photographers who need a straightforward way to cover a lens between uses. It suits anyone replacing a missing cap or keeping a correctly sized spare with their kit. The job is simple: cover the front of the lens when it’s off the camera or going into storage, helping keep the exposed glass away from dust and accidental contact. There’s no complicated setup to learn; you choose this one by its 55 mm size, rather than by the camera brand. That measurement is the practical starting point when narrowing down a replacement. It’s a small accessory, but a practical one to keep near the lens you use most. If your priority is a correctly sized cover for a lens, this Kaiser gives you a clearly identified option, with the fit decision centred on the stated size rather than a camera system.
Specialist Note
A 55 mm cap makes the end-of-session routine simple: cover the lens front before you put the lens away. At the counter, I’d use the 55 mm designation as the first matching clue, then look for Kaiser 6955 when you need to identify the same item again; the number helps distinguish this specific cap in your notes or shopping list. It suits a photographer replacing a lost cap or keeping a spare for a lens with that size. Use it during a pause between shots or before packing a lens for storage, placing it over the front so the glass is covered. One limitation: this is a lens cap, not a body cap, so it covers the lens end.
