Kaiser KAIS.10277 U.V.FILTER M.C E77
Kaiser KAIS.10277 U.V.FILTER M.C E77 | A 77 mm UV filter with multi-coating
Kaiser KAIS.10277 U.V.FILTER M.C E77 is a 77 mm UV filter, made for photographers whose lenses take this filter size. Its UV designation makes its purpose clear, while the M.C marking identifies it as multi-coated. It’s a straightforward accessory for photographers who want a UV filter on a compatible lens without choosing a different filter effect. Use it for everyday photography or keep it fitted when shooting outdoors; the filter’s job is to sit in front of the lens as a UV filter, not to alter your framing or give you a polarizing effect. The key practical detail is the E77 size: it narrows the choice to lenses that accept a 77 mm filter. If that’s the filter size you need, this Kaiser gives you the stated UV type and multi-coated designation in one simple filter.
Using the Kaiser UV filter
A UV filter is a simple addition to a lens setup: fit the filter to the lens and shoot through it. For outdoor scenes such as landscapes, it lets you keep a UV filter in place while composing and exposing as usual. The multi-coated designation is useful to note when choosing between filter versions, but this remains a UV filter rather than a tool for changing reflections or controlling light like a polarizing filter would. Its appeal is in that specific, uncomplicated role.
Specialist Note
Photographers who spend time framing coastlines, open fields or other outdoor scenes may appreciate having this Kaiser UV filter fitted to a suitable lens. The UV type gives it a clear, specific purpose; it isn’t a polarizer, so don’t expect it to deepen skies or remove reflections. I’d use it as a simple extra layer in front of the lens when shooting outdoors, especially where dust or sea spray could be a nuisance. Its M.C designation means it’s multi-coated, which is a useful detail for a filter sitting in the light path. The honest limitation is that it won’t add creative control: choose it for UV filtering, not for changing the look of a scene.
