Kase Revolution Plus Mega Kit 95mm
Kase Revolution Plus Mega Kit 95mm | UV filtering for a 95mm setup
Without a UV filter, your filter setup has no dedicated element for filtering ultraviolet light. The Kase Revolution Plus Mega Kit 95mm is a UV filter product in a 95mm format, aimed at photographers who use filters and want UV filtering as part of their setup. Its name also identifies it as a Mega Kit, so it’s worth choosing by the product format as well as by the 95mm size. A UV filter has a straightforward role: it filters ultraviolet light, rather than adding a creative effect such as a colour shift. That makes the purpose easy to understand, but the key practical detail is the size. The 95mm figure gives you a specific reference when selecting a filter for your lens setup. If you’re comparing options, make sure the filter size you need is 95mm; the product name alone doesn’t establish which lenses or systems it fits.
Specialist Note
For a 95mm filter setup, I’d start by matching the size to the filter thread on the lens you intend to use. That number is the useful first check here: it helps prevent choosing a filter in the wrong size, but it doesn’t by itself tell you which lens systems it fits. The UV designation tells you the job: filtering ultraviolet light, rather than adding a deliberate colour or exposure effect. I’d consider it for outdoor scenes where UV filtering is the aim, and keep expectations focused on that role. The “Mega Kit” name is part of this product’s format, but I wouldn’t assume particular contents from the name alone.
