It works by keeping an internal battery in the camera charged via USB C, while simultaneously allowing for the swapping of V or Gold Mount batteries while the camera is still operational.

Given the two-way nature of these cables, one can also charge their V-mount and Gold Mount batteries using a USB C PD wall plug (Note: AC PD wall plug is not included in the package).

This capable cable can deliver up to 65W and uses intelligent Power Delivery protocols to supply the right voltage to any connected USB-C PD device.
