Kondor Blue KB-15MNR Sony FX6 Cage 15mm Accessory NATO Rail Space Grey
Kondor Blue KB-15MNR Sony FX6 Cage 15mm Accessory NATO Rail Space Grey | Plan a more deliberate FX6 cage build
Build a more deliberate Sony FX6 cage setup around a 15mm accessory and NATO rail arrangement with the Kondor Blue KB-15MNR. This tripod accessory is named for the Sony FX6 cage and its 15mm accessory/NATO rail format, and comes in Space Grey. It’s aimed at camera operators and small crews planning how accessories fit into an FX6 rig, particularly when a rail-based layout is part of the build. The practical benefit is having a specifically identified component to plan around, instead of improvising the arrangement as you put the rig together. That can make it easier to think through where the cage’s accessory area belongs in your overall setup before you commit to a layout. It’s a focused piece for a particular rigging approach, rather than a complete camera support system. If your FX6 build already calls for a 15mm and NATO rail arrangement, this is a product to consider as part of that plan.
Specialist Note
For an FX6 cage build that needs a defined 15mm/NATO rail point, the KB-15MNR offers a more direct route than improvising the layout around the camera. The 15mm designation is useful when you’re planning the accessory side of the rig around that size; it gives you a clear format to work from as you map the setup. The NATO rail reference points to a rail-based cage arrangement, so I’d consider it for a compact FX6 support build or a rig where you want the accessory area planned as part of the cage. I’d plan the 15mm and NATO elements together rather than treating those terms as interchangeable. It’s a focused accessory, not a whole rig, so it makes most sense when your setup already has a place for this arrangement.
