Kondor Blue KB-FFS50-BK Fletch Fiber System For HDMI 1 Kit: 50 Feet Raven Black
Kondor Blue KB-FFS50-BK Fletch Fiber System For HDMI 1 Kit: 50 Feet Raven Black | Long reach for routed HDMI setups
When your camera needs to stay on one side of a room and your viewing position is on the other, a short HDMI run can dictate where everything goes. The Kondor Blue Fletch Fiber System For HDMI 1 Kit gives you a 50-foot option for that kind of setup. It’s a fiber system, identified for HDMI 1, in Raven Black. That makes it relevant to camera operators and small production teams planning a longer connection between their camera position and their viewing position. The useful point here is the reach: you can plan the route around the room rather than placing the camera beside the display simply to keep the connection short. It’s also worth measuring the route before you settle your positions; the distance needed depends on where the cable has to go, not just the gap between two stands.
Where this system fits
Think of this as a routing option for a set, studio or event space where the camera and the place you need to view its HDMI output aren’t close together. Map the path from one position to the other, including the route around equipment and walkways, then see whether 50 feet suits the layout. The Raven Black finish gives the system a dark appearance in a rig. Keep your choice grounded in the actual run you need: a longer reach can help with placement, but it doesn’t make a poorly planned route tidy by itself.
Specialist Note
This 50-foot fiber system lets you route an HDMI connection without moving the camera right beside your viewing position. I’d consider it for a studio setup or an event space where the camera needs a fixed position and the viewing point is across the room; measure the intended path first, including the detours around stands, and use the available length to plan the layout. The fiber-system designation is the other detail to keep in mind: this is specifically a fiber system for HDMI 1, so I’d match that wording to the connection you’re planning rather than assume it suits a different setup. One practical caveat: for a compact rig with nearby positions, 50 feet may be more cable reach than you need.
