Kondor Blue KB-PS1RII Panasonic LUMIX S1RII Cage w/ Top Handle Space Grey
Kondor Blue KB-PS1RII Panasonic LUMIX S1RII Cage w/ Top Handle Space Grey | Add a top handle to tripod-based setups
For tripod-led filming where you also want a handhold to guide the camera, the Kondor Blue KB-PS1RII Panasonic LUMIX S1RII Cage w/ Top Handle Space Grey brings those parts together in one accessory. It’s a camera cage with a top handle, made for the Panasonic LUMIX S1RII and listed as a tripod accessory. The handle gives you a higher place to guide or reposition the camera, while the cage forms the camera-specific part of the setup. That makes it a considered fit for S1RII owners who move between a fixed tripod composition and handheld adjustments, rather than a general-purpose handle purchase. The Space Grey finish keeps the look understated. If your work is mainly tripod-based and you’d welcome a more direct way to guide the camera between takes or framings, this is a focused option to consider.
Where it fits
This setup makes the most sense for a workflow with deliberate reframing: establish a tripod shot, then use the handle to guide the camera as you change its position. It may also suit a small video setup where you want a clear handhold while getting the camera into place. The benefit here is the combination of a cage and an upper grip in a product named specifically for the S1RII, rather than buying a handle without that camera-specific context.
Specialist Note
The top handle sits above the cage, giving you a higher handhold when you need to guide the camera rather than reach around its sides. I’d look at this for an S1RII setup that alternates between tripod framing and short repositioning moves; holding the upper grip gives you a natural point from which to steer the camera. The cage-and-handle combination is the useful detail here, and the Space Grey finish keeps the setup visually restrained. It’s a specific accessory for the Panasonic LUMIX S1RII, so I’d choose it for that camera and workflow—not as a general handle for an unrelated rig.
