Kondor Blue KB-SFX3-BR Sony FX3/FX30 Basis-Rig MkII Space Grey
Kondor Blue KB-SFX3-BR Sony FX3/FX30 Basis-Rig MkII Space Grey | A considered starting point for FX3/FX30 rig building
Without a dedicated basis rig, planning a camera setup can mean starting from scratch each time. The Kondor Blue KB-SFX3-BR is a tripod accessory described as a Basis-Rig MkII for the Sony FX3 and FX30. It suits owners of either camera who want a named rig foundation to build their video setup around. Its role is deliberately specific: it gives you a starting point for rig planning, rather than promising a particular collection of add-ons or a finished configuration. That makes it most relevant when you already know you want a rig for an FX3 or FX30 and are choosing its base. The Space Grey finish gives this version a distinct look. If you want a ready-made, fully specified setup, this product name alone doesn’t tell you what that would include; as a basis-rig accessory, its appeal is the starting point it offers.
Specialist Note
The limitation is that a basis rig is a starting point, not a complete filming setup; you’ll need to decide what your own configuration requires. For an FX3 or FX30 owner who wants to build around one of these cameras, that’s also the reason this Kondor Blue makes sense: the model name is specific to those two Sony cameras, so it gives your rig planning a clear focus. The MkII designation identifies this as the second version of the Basis-Rig, while Space Grey tells you which finish you’re choosing. I’d consider it when setting up a video rig for either camera and want the base decision settled first.
