The Laowa Nanomorph lenses are an innovative creation in cinematography, designed compactly for Super35 sensors. These lenses, weighing below 390 grams each, are crafted for versatility and convenience. Keeping the anamorphic qualities intact, these lenses feature a steady 1.5x anamorphic squeeze sans the mumps. The relatively shorter focusing distance offers comprehensive scope for determining the composition.

The 50mm T2.4 lens provides a focal length of 50mm. It supports a substantial aperture range between T2.4 and T16 and comprises 13 aperture blades. This structure enables a shallow depth of field and smooth bokeh. The lens has a minimal focusing distance of 70cm and a field of view of 42 degrees. Despite these features, this lens retains its lightness with a weight of 390 grams.

Nanomorph lenses come in three distinctive flare options: amber, blue, and silver.
