Leofoto LY-224C+LH-25 (Yellow) CNC Tripod | Steadier frames in low light

Long exposures and night-sky photographs are easier to make when your camera stays still throughout the exposure. The Leofoto LY-224C+LH-25 is a CNC tripod paired with the LH-25, suited to photographers who want a steady setup for landscapes, long exposures, night and astro photography, or video. It’s a considered option for someone who often works at slower shutter speeds, when even a small movement can soften the image. Set it up to frame your landscape or night scene, then give the camera a stable place to hold that composition. For video, a steady support helps keep the framing settled. The yellow finish gives this model a distinctive look among your equipment. This isn’t a description of a tripod with a list of assumed extras: the appeal here is the named LY-224C and LH-25 combination, and its fit with work where steadiness matters more than speed.

Specialist Note

25 is the LH-25’s model number, so you can identify the specific head paired with the LY-224C rather than choosing an unnamed setup. The CNC designation is also useful when you’re comparing this exact model: it tells you how this tripod is described, without implying a load rating or other performance figure. I’d point a landscape photographer toward it for carefully composed frames, and an astro photographer toward it for holding a night-sky composition steady during a longer exposure. Set the framing before you start, then use your camera’s delayed shutter if available to avoid touching it at the moment of capture. One thing to bear in mind: the yellow finish is easy to spot, but it’s not a discreet look.
