Logitech Strong USB 3.1 Cable - Graphite - WW 25METER

Logitech Strong USB 3.1 Cable - Graphite - WW 25METER | A longer wired USB connection

When a USB connection needs to reach farther than a short desk cable allows, keeping equipment close together can get in the way of your layout. The Logitech Strong USB 3.1 Cable gives you a 25-metre cable run, so you can place connected equipment farther apart. It’s a practical option for installations where the cable route is long and a wired USB connection is the plan. The finish is graphite, a subdued colour that’s easy to keep low-key alongside other equipment. One honest point: a long cable is most helpful when you’ve planned the route, rather than simply buying extra length and hoping it fits. Think about where the cable needs to go and where the connected equipment will sit. For a fixed setup with space between those points, this cable is the straightforward part of the job.

Plan the route

Measure the path the cable will actually follow, rather than measuring only the gap between the two endpoints. Going around furniture or along a wall can add distance, and a little slack at the ends makes it easier to position the equipment neatly. It also helps to decide where the cable will cross a walkway, if it has to cross one at all. A considered route is easier to keep tidy and less likely to become something people have to step over.

The product name identifies this as a Logitech USB 3.1 cable; it doesn’t identify particular devices for use with it. So make the cable length and the USB connection type part of your setup planning, and keep the decision focused on the connection you need to make. For a longer installation, getting the route right is as important as having enough cable to reach.
