Lucky Film Colour 400 ISO 135-36

Lucky Film Colour 400 ISO 135-36 | A 36-frame roll for colour photography

What sets Lucky Film Colour 400 ISO 135-36 apart is the straightforward combination in its name: colour film, ISO 400, and a 36-frame roll. It suits photographers who want to shoot on film and have a specific colour roll in mind, without needing a larger pack or a different exposure rating. The most useful reason to choose it is that you can match those details to the way you plan to work: colour rather than black-and-white, ISO 400, and 36 frames to shoot. That makes it a considered pick for a planned outing or a personal project where you want to work through one roll at a time. The honest point is that the product name tells you the essentials, not what the finished images will look like. If those essentials fit your plan, this is a clear, uncomplicated option to put in your bag.

Choosing this roll

The 135-36 part of the name is worth paying attention to when selecting film: it identifies the format and the 36-frame count. ISO 400 gives you another concrete point to compare with the film you usually shoot, or with the requirements of a particular project. Those details make it easier to decide before you start, rather than halfway through a roll. Think about the kind of images you want to make, whether colour suits them, and whether 36 frames is the amount you want to commit to. There’s no need to read more into the name than it says. For someone choosing a colour roll by format, sensitivity and frame count, Lucky Film keeps those three details in view.
