Marumi Circ Pola Filter Exus 67 mm
Marumi Circ Pola Filter Exus 67 mm | Control reflections and deepen skies
Without a polarising filter, reflections on water, glass and glossy leaves can hide detail in a photograph. The Marumi Circ Pola Filter Exus gives you a way to reduce those reflections and, in suitable light, make a blue sky appear deeper. It’s a practical option for landscape photographers, travel shooters and anyone who often photographs through or beside reflective surfaces. The 67 mm size is the key fit detail: it needs to match the filter thread on your lens. The effect also depends on the light and your shooting angle, so it won’t remove every reflection or darken every sky equally. For the strongest change, look for reflected light and adjust the filter while watching the scene or your camera’s view. This is a focused tool for shaping contrast in-camera, rather than a general-purpose protective filter.
Specialist Note
A polarising filter does have a trade-off: its effect changes with your angle to the light, so it won’t give the same result in every direction. I still recommend this Marumi when you want hands-on control over reflections instead of trying to fix them later. Because it’s a circular polariser, you can turn the filter to vary the effect as you compose. That’s especially useful for reducing glare on water or foliage; for a richer blue sky, point roughly at right angles to the sun and adjust while looking through the camera. The 67 mm diameter suits you only if that matches your lens thread, so it’s worth matching the size before choosing it.
