Marumi FS Plus Lens Protect Filter 77 mm
Marumi FS Plus Lens Protect Filter 77 mm | A protective layer for your lens
You’re carrying your camera with the lens cap off, ready to take a photo, and the front of the lens is exposed between shots. The Marumi FS Plus Lens Protect Filter is made for that simple situation: it places a protective filter in front of the lens, so the front element isn’t left uncovered during everyday use. Its 77 mm size is the key detail when choosing one; it’s intended for a lens setup that takes a 77 mm filter. That makes it a straightforward option for photographers who want a protection filter fitted while they’re out walking, travelling or taking pictures around town. There’s no need to change how you shoot or adjust camera settings to use it. Just keep in mind what it’s for: an extra protective layer, not a substitute for sensible handling or a lens cap when the camera is packed away.
Specialist Note
The Marumi FS Plus gives a 77 mm lens setup a protective filter at the front, instead of leaving the lens exposed whenever you take the cap off. That’s handy if you keep your camera ready for quick pictures on a walk or at a family gathering: fit the filter and you can leave the cap off between shots. The 77 mm size is the detail to match to your lens’s filter fitting, so it’s best suited to a setup that takes that size. I’d treat it as a simple everyday guard, not as a reason to skip careful packing; put the lens cap back on when the camera goes into a bag.
