Marumi Protect Filter Super DHG 77 mm
Marumi Protect Filter Super DHG 77 mm | A simple barrier for your lens
Your lens gets a protective layer in front of its own front element, helping keep everyday contact away from the glass you rely on for pictures. The Marumi Protect Filter Super DHG is a protection filter for photographers who want that extra barrier while using their lens day to day. Its 77 mm size is the key detail when choosing it: it’s intended for a lens that takes a 77 mm filter. That makes it worth considering if you’d rather keep a filter in place during regular use than leave the front element exposed. Use it for ordinary outings, family photographs or walks where the lens may be handled often; it can help shield the front from casual contact, but it isn’t a reason to treat your equipment carelessly. This is a straightforward protective accessory, not a way to change the look of your photographs. Match the size to the lens and you have a simple layer of protection to keep in place.
Specialist Note
77 mm tells you which lens size this filter is made for, so I’d start by matching that number to the filter size your lens takes. It suits photographers who want a protective layer left in place for everyday use, especially when a lens is being picked up and put away frequently. The supplier lists it as black, which gives the filter a discreet appearance on the lens rather than a bright accent. For family days out or regular walks, fitting the correctly sized filter before you head out keeps the front of the lens covered during normal handling. One honest point: it’s a barrier, not a substitute for careful storage or handling.
