Matin Lens Cap w/ Elastiek 46mm M-6279
Matin Lens Cap with Elastic 46mm M-6279 | Keep your 46mm cap close at hand
When you take a lens cap off to make a picture, you need somewhere to put it—and a loose cap can be easy to misplace. The Matin Lens Cap with Elastic is a straightforward replacement or spare for a lens that takes a 46mm cap. Its elastic gives you a way to keep the cap close while it’s off the lens, rather than leaving it on a bench or at the bottom of a bag. Put it back on when you’re packing up or pausing between shots, and it covers the front of the lens. This is a practical little accessory for photographers who remove and replace their cap throughout the day, or who want a spare ready in their camera bag. The key detail is the 46mm size: it’s made for a matching lens front, not a one-size-fits-all solution.
Specialist Note
A cap that gets set down and left behind is a small annoyance that can follow you all day; the elastic helps keep this one close when you take it off. I’d point you to it if your lens uses a 46mm cap and you often switch between shooting and protecting the lens. The size is specific, so it’s a replacement for a matching 46mm lens, not a universal spare for every lens in your bag. The elastic is especially handy when you’re working quickly and don’t want to find a pocket or surface for the cap. It’s a simple, focused option; its value is in keeping that correctly sized cap within reach.
