Nedis Balanced XLR-Audiocbl XLR 3-PINS M-6.35mm M 3m GY

Nedis Balanced XLR-Audiocbl XLR 3-PINS M-6.35mm M 3m GY | A straightforward audio connection

The key detail of this Nedis cable is its combination of a 3-pin male XLR connector and a male 6.35mm plug: it links audio equipment that uses those two different connections. It suits anyone who needs that specific connection between compatible sockets, rather than a cable with the same plug at each end. The cable is 3 metres long, giving you some room to route it between nearby pieces of gear without placing them directly beside one another. Its grey colour is a modest, practical touch if you prefer cables that are easy to distinguish among darker ones. This is a simple connecting cable, not a device that changes or processes audio. The product is described as balanced, but the actual signal setup depends on the equipment and connections at either end. For the right pairing, the useful thing is clear: one cable joins an XLR connection to a 6.35mm connection.

Planning the connection

Before choosing this cable, consider the sockets on the two pieces of equipment you want to connect. The plugs need to match those sockets, and the audio equipment needs to be set up for the signal you intend to send. That’s especially worth keeping in mind with cables that join different connector formats: the shape of a plug alone doesn’t tell you every detail of how a particular device handles audio. If the connection you need is XLR on one side and 6.35mm on the other, this cable gives you that pairing in a three-metre run. If your setup needs a different connector arrangement or a different length, this is simply not the right cable for that job. A quick look at the sockets and the intended routing should help you decide. Nothing complicated, but it’s a detail worth getting right before connecting your gear.
