Nedis CAT6-CABLE RJ45 Male RJ45 Male U/UTP 10.0m Round PVC White Label

Nedis CAT6-CABLE RJ45 Male RJ45 Male U/UTP 10.0m Round PVC White Label | A 10-metre wired connection

When a network socket and the equipment you want to connect aren’t close together, this Nedis cable gives you a longer run without adding another connection point. It’s a CAT6 cable with RJ45 male plugs at both ends, for connecting equipment that has matching RJ45 network sockets. At 10.0 metres, it can suit a route between rooms or around a workspace where a short lead would come up short. The cable is U/UTP, with a round PVC outer covering, and it’s white. Those details make it easier to identify the cable and plan where it will run. Its job is simple: provide a wired link between two suitable network connections. If you need a direct cable connection and the route calls for this length, this is the kind of practical lead to consider.

Planning the cable route

Before choosing a cable length, trace the path it needs to follow rather than measuring only the straight-line distance between the two devices. A route may need to go around furniture, follow a wall or pass along the edge of a desk. Leave a little room at each end so the plugs can reach their sockets without pulling the cable tight. That small bit of planning can make the finished setup easier to live with.

Think about where the cable will sit day to day, too. A route across a busy walkway may get in the way, while a run tucked beside furniture can be less noticeable. The white finish may blend more easily with some light-coloured spaces, though it won’t disappear against every surface. For a fixed setup, decide on the path first; for a temporary connection, keep the route clear so people don’t catch a foot on it. It’s a straightforward item, but measuring and placing it carefully makes the connection neater.
