Nedis CAT7-CABLE S/FTP RJ45 RJ45 5.0 M Round LSZH Grey

Nedis CAT7-CABLE S/FTP RJ45 RJ45 5.0 M Round LSZH Grey | A five-metre link for RJ45 connections

The defining decision is the 5.0 m length: it gives you a set cable run when a short lead won’t reach comfortably. Nedis identifies this as a CAT7 cable with S/FTP construction and RJ45 connectors at both ends. Its role is simple: connect equipment with matching RJ45 sockets when this length suits the route. That makes it relevant for a wired network connection at home or at a work desk. The cable is round, grey and LSZH. In practical terms, measure the path the cable needs to follow, rather than just the straight-line gap between devices. A little planning helps you choose a length that reaches without leaving more cable to manage than you need.

When you’re deciding if this is the right cable for your setup, start with the connection points and the route between them. Check that both ends call for RJ45, then consider how the cable will travel around furniture or along a wall. That route can be longer than the space between the devices looks at first glance. The CAT7 designation is another label to match against your setup’s requirements; it doesn’t, by itself, tell you what capabilities your connected equipment has. For a cable purchase, the honest question is whether this connector type and length fit the job you have in mind. If they do, this Nedis cable keeps the choice straightforward.
