Nedis Flat High Speed HDMI Cable, 3 m | A flat cable for HDMI connections

It can be awkward when an HDMI cable has to follow a particular route around a desk or entertainment setup. The Nedis Flat High Speed HDMI Cable gives you a 3 m connection with a flat cable design, for linking two HDMI connections. It’s suited to a setup where the devices aren’t right beside each other and you want to plan the cable path before you connect them. The cable is black, so it keeps a low-key appearance alongside other dark cables and equipment. Its name identifies it as a High Speed HDMI cable, with an HDMI connector at each end. That’s the useful summary: a clearly named cable for an HDMI-to-HDMI connection, with a flat form and a stated length. There’s no need to guess what kind of connection it’s intended to make.

Planning the cable route

Before connecting your equipment, consider where the cable will run and where each end needs to reach. Measure the path between the two connection points, including any bends or detours around furniture, rather than measuring only the direct distance between the devices. That gives you a more practical sense of the reach you need and helps avoid pulling a cable taut. A flat design can be helpful when you’re working out how to route a cable through a space; the route itself will depend on your setup. Keep the connection points accessible, too, so you can plug in or remove the cable without having to shift other equipment. It’s a straightforward bit of setup planning, but it can save a frustrating rearrangement later.
