Newell Power Station Asvala Crank 220 V 22500 mAh PD 18W

Newell Power Station Asvala Crank 220 V 22500 mAh PD 18W | Portable power for your setup

When you need power away from a wall socket, a power station can help keep a shoot or other work session going. The Newell Power Station Asvala Crank is named with a 220 V supply, a 22500 mAh capacity and PD rated at 18 W. That gives you a few concrete figures to compare with the power needs of the equipment you plan to use. It’s for people who want a portable power source with both a mains-voltage rating and a PD rating in the product details, rather than a small battery pack described only by capacity. The honest point is that those numbers alone don’t tell you how long a particular device will run; that depends on the device and how it’s used. Still, they make this model easier to assess against a real power requirement before you pack it.

Planning around your power needs

Think about the device you want to power first, then compare its requirements with the figures listed for this station. For a camera outing, that might mean planning around the equipment you’re bringing and how long you expect to be away from a dependable mains supply. For other work, it may be more useful as a compact source to keep with your kit than as something you leave permanently set up. Either way, the best reason to consider this model is specific: you have a power need that suits the ratings given in its name. I’d make that comparison before deciding; a large capacity figure on its own isn’t a substitute for matching the power source to the job.
