Nitze Rubberized Aluminium Zijhandgreep w/ Nato Clamp (PA29C)
Nitze Rubberized Aluminium Side Handle with NATO Clamp (PA29C) | A side grip for more controlled rig handling
When a camera rig has no comfortable side grip, small framing adjustments can feel awkward. The Nitze PA29C is a tripod accessory that gives you a dedicated side handle to hold while positioning or guiding your setup. Its NATO clamp is the attachment point, so it suits a rig that has a matching NATO-style receiver. The handle’s rubberized aluminium construction combines a rubberized contact surface with an aluminium body. That makes it a practical option for operators who want a defined place to hold their rig rather than reaching around other equipment. It’s best for adding a side handhold to a compatible setup, especially when you want to make controlled adjustments without changing how the rest of your rig is arranged. This is a specific rig accessory, not a general-purpose handle: its usefulness depends on having the right mounting point.
Specialist Note
One limitation to keep in mind: the NATO clamp needs a matching NATO-style receiver on your rig. If that’s already part of your setup, the PA29C gives you a straightforward side handhold without adding another kind of mounting interface. The rubberized surface is useful where your fingers meet the handle; it gives you a more comfortable contact than bare aluminium. The aluminium construction forms the handle body, so you get a defined grip for guiding a tripod-mounted rig during small framing adjustments. I’d consider it for an operator who wants to reposition a setup by holding its side, rather than reaching over the camera. It’s a focused accessory, and that specific clamp is the point to check in your rig layout.
