Novoflex Ball Head Ball 19 w/ Panning Functie

Novoflex Ball Head Ball 19 with Panning Function | Precise tripod framing with panning built in

Without a dedicated tripod head, precise framing can mean working around whatever adjustment your tripod offers. The Novoflex Ball Head Ball 19 gives you a ball head with a panning function, so you can position a camera on a tripod and move the view across a scene when needed. It suits photographers who take care with still-image composition, as well as anyone making a panorama where consistent framing matters. The panning function also allows for video pans, though this ball head isn’t designed specifically for smooth, sustained video movement. Its appeal is simple: a head for careful tripod framing, with panning available when a scene calls for a sweep. It makes most sense if you already use a tripod and want to compose deliberately rather than adjust the camera by hand.

Making a panorama

For a panorama, frame the first view, then move across the scene in a series of steps, keeping some overlap between frames. The panning function gives you a way to make those successive views from the tripod. You’ll still need to plan the framing and overlap yourself; the head provides the movement, not an automatic panorama.
